Iraqi soldiers stand behind coffins in
the middle of the desert at the Iranian border near the town of
Fakke, 400 km souht-east of Baghdad, September 17, 2002. As the
Iraqi government tried to avoid another conflict in their oil-rich
country by offering to re-admit U.N. weapons inspectors, the Iraqi
army exchanged 120 coffins with Iran which contained the remains of
victims of their fierce war with their neighboring country. REUTERS/Damir
