Bombs : The second wave of bombs dropped on the same day on Iran National Storage Sites, in Karaj Highway. Iraq's aim at the beginning of the war was to destroy all economic and strategic sites in Iran in order to disable Iran in defending its border town; however, the bombings also included direct targets in downtown residential areas to terrorize and intimidate the public. ©1996 F.
