Bombs : This was the first wave of bombs dropped by Iraqi warplanes on the Mehrabad Airport (international airport) in Tehran. This picture was taken minutes after the bombs were dropped on August 23, 1980, the day that Iraq invaded Iran starting a bloody 8-year war which resulted in more than a million casualties.
